  • 1 cup whole grain pasta(shell, penne, or ziti)
  • 1/4 cup onion(chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves(minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil(or cooking oil of your choice)

Wash hands with soap and water.

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

In a small saucepan, cook onion and garlic in oil until tender.

Stir in tomatoes, basil, oregano, sugar, and pepper.
