
Greek Chicken
Greek Chicken is the perfect recipe for an easy weeknight meal! Serve these chicken breasts baked in a herb lemon sauce along with your favorite sides for a complete meal the whole family will love!
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 lemons, (juiced)
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest ((about 1 lemon))

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place chicken breasts in a 9” x 13” baking dish. Pierce each chicken breast multiple times with a fork (on top and bottom side of each chicken breast). Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well to mix.
Pour the lemon mixture over the chicken breasts. Use a spoon to scoop some mixture on the tops of each chicken breast.
Place in the oven to bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Chicken is done once the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the temperature of the meat. Serve hot for best results.
Optional: Sprinkle fresh parsley over chicken breasts.
