A potent hangover cure invented at Cairo's Shepheard's Hotel in the 1940s — a split-base of bourbon and gin with lime and ginger beer. — Crafted by Blinner with Love
Ingredients
- 1 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz London dry gin
- 0.5 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 4 oz Ginger beer
- mint sprig (garnish) garnish
- orange slice (garnish) garnish
Pairs With

Instructions
Add bourbon, gin, lime juice, and bitters to a shaker with ice
Shake briefly for 8 seconds
Strain into a highball glass filled with ice
Top with ginger beer and stir gently
Garnish with a mint sprig and orange slice
