Instructions
Run a lemon wedge around half the rim of a coupe glass and dip into fine sugar to coat
Chill the prepared glass in the freezer while you build the drink

Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until well-chilled

Garnish with a lemon twist draped over the rim
Tips
A VSOP cognac like Remy Martin or Pierre Ferrand 1840 has enough body and flavor to stand up to the citrus The sugar rim is traditional — half-rimming lets you choose sweet or clean sips For a richer version, use Cointreau in place of standard triple sec for deeper orange flavor
