Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Cognac
- 0.8 oz Rye whiskey
- 0.3 oz Simple syrup
- 8 leaves Fresh mint
- large mint bouquet (garnish) garnish
- powdered sugar dusting (garnish) garnish

Instructions
Gently muddle mint leaves with simple syrup in a julep cup or rocks glass
Add cognac and rye whiskey
Pack the glass tightly with crushed ice
Stir until the outside of the glass frosts
Add more crushed ice to form a mound
Garnish with a generous bouquet of mint and dust with powdered sugar
