- 0.8 oz Fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz Grenadine (real pomegranate)

Fill with ice and shake hard for 12 seconds
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
Float a thin fan of apple slices on the surface for garnish
Tips
Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy at 100 proof delivers the best backbone for this cocktail; the lighter Laird's Applejack blend works but produces a milder drink Homemade grenadine (2:1 pomegranate juice to sugar, simmered briefly) elevates this drink dramatically over commercial versions Some classic recipes call for lemon juice instead of lime; try both and decide which you prefer
