- 0.8 oz Honey-ginger syrup
- 0.3 oz Peated Irish whiskey (such as Connemara)
- candied ginger (garnish) garnish
Pairs With

Shake vigorously for 12 seconds
Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube
Gently float the peated whiskey on top by pouring over the back of a spoon
Garnish with a piece of candied ginger on a cocktail pick
Tips
Make honey-ginger syrup by simmering equal parts honey and water with sliced ginger for 15 minutes Connemara is Ireland's only peated single malt — it adds the smoky top note that defines this drink The float should remain on top — don't stir it in; let the flavors meld as you sip
