A Brooklyn cocktail variation created by Michael McIlroy at Milk & Honey, named after the Brooklyn neighborhood. Rye whiskey meets yellow Chartreuse and sweet vermouth in a stirred, spirit-forward drink with real complexity.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Rye whiskey
- 0.5 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 0.5 oz Sweet vermouth
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 dash Orange bitters
- lemon peel twist (garnish) garnish

Instructions
Add rye whiskey, yellow Chartreuse, sweet vermouth, and both bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice
Stir steadily for 30 seconds until well-chilled and properly diluted
Strain into a chilled coupe glass
Express a lemon peel over the drink
Drop the lemon twist into the glass as garnish
