- 0.8 oz Simple syrup
- 1 Egg white (optional)
- 2 oz Club soda
- lemon wheel (garnish) garnish
Pairs With
Serve with light, summery fare such as lemon pound cake, strawberry shortcake, or refreshing fruit-forward appetizers. The frothy texture and bright citrus make it ideal for brunch or dessert pairings.
Instructions
Add gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to a shaker without ice
Dry shake vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white
Add ice and shake again for another 12-15 seconds until very cold
Strain into a chilled highball glass without ice
Top with club soda poured slowly to build a foamy head
Garnish with a lemon wheel on the rim
Tips
The dry shake (no ice) is critical for building the signature frothy head Omit the egg white for a standard Gin Fizz; include it and it becomes a Silver Fizz Serve without ice in the glass so the foam stays intact and the drink stays light
