Ingredients
- 2 oz Aperol
- 2 oz Prosecco
- 0.5 oz Fresh orange juice
- 0.5 oz Simple syrup
- 2 cups Ice
- orange wheel (garnish) garnish
Pairs With
Pair with light Caprese salad or charcuterie with fresh mozzarella to complement the refreshing, icy bitterness on a warm day.
Instructions
Add Aperol, prosecco, orange juice, simple syrup, and ice to a blender
Blend until smooth and slushy
Pour into a wine glass
Garnish with an orange wheel
Tips
Work quickly — the prosecco loses its fizz in the blender, so serve immediately Pre-freeze the prosecco into ice cubes and blend with regular Aperol for extra fizziness A splash of soda water on top after pouring restores some effervescence
