Tips
A VSOP cognac like Pierre Ferrand 1840 or Remy Martin works beautifully without breaking the bank The half ounce of Chartreuse is deliberate — any more and it overwhelms the cognac rather than complementing it This cocktail is an excellent introduction to green Chartreuse for someone who finds it too intense on its own
