A forgotten gem from the golden age of cocktails that predates the Margarita. Brandy, lemon, and orange liqueur are shaken together and served over crushed ice for a refreshing, spirit-forward sipper with a floral elegance.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Brandy
- 0.8 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz Orange curacao or Cointreau
- 0.3 oz Grenadine
- 1 oz Club soda

Instructions
Add brandy, lemon juice, orange curacao, and grenadine to a shaker
Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 12 seconds
Strain into a rocks glass packed tightly with crushed ice
