Ingredients
- 2 oz Single malt Scotch whisky
- 1 oz Heather honey
- 1 oz Heavy cream
- 1 oz Oatmeal water
- grated nutmeg (garnish) garnish
Pairs With
Serve with Scottish shortbread, oatmeal cookies, or creamy cheese alongside cured salmon to harmonize with the drink's rich honey, cream, and oatmeal components.
Instructions
Prepare oatmeal water by soaking 2 tablespoons of oatmeal in 4 oz of water for 30 minutes, then straining
Warm the honey slightly and mix with the oatmeal water until dissolved
Add Scotch and stir to combine
Add cream and stir gently
Serve in a rocks glass over a single large ice cube
Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
