A forgotten classic from the golden age of cocktails that deserves a comeback. Equal parts scotch, dry vermouth, and sweet vermouth stirred with bitters create a perfectly balanced aperitif.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Blended scotch whisky
- 1 oz Dry vermouth
- 1 oz Sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- lemon twist (garnish) garnish

Instructions
Add scotch, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, and both bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice
Stir for 25 seconds until well chilled
Strain into a chilled martini glass
Express a lemon twist over the surface
Drop the lemon twist into the drink
